The donor car

an 80's something Monte Carlo had received the gift of a 94 Corvette LT1 motor.
Unfortunately for the Monte it could not hang on to the LT1 long enough to actually run and while we got it mounted in the Chevelle it did not last long there either

The Monte was being assembled by the owner of a wrecking yard and he could pick and choose what he wanted.
